Sexual Assault Awareness Walk

Join the CONNECT to End Violence team for our annual Sexual Assault Awareness Walk. This walk spreads awareness about sexual assault and provide resources to survivors in our community. This is a family friendly event. There is a $10 suggested donation that goes directly to survivors in the community.

MVCS May Day Blossoms Family Festival

Join us for a vibrant and joyous family-centered gathering, as we celebrate the value of making someone’s day brighter through May Day themed activities. Activities include: May Day basket crafts; flower cookie decorating; scavenger hunt; live music; photo booth (wear floral prints!); mural creation. Light refreshments provided. Flowery raffle prizes available.

May is Supervised Visitation Awareness month- did you know that MVCS provides the Island’s only supervised visitation services? Jaime Schwab, Family Services Manager at CONNECT to End Violence, will discuss services provided by the Supervised Visitation Center (SVC). The SVC provides a  neutral and secure place for Island children to connect with their non-custodial parent.
