SUMMARY:Active Threat Planning and Drill
DESCRIPTION:This day is being coordinated with the Duke’s County Sheriff’s Office who will be onsite providing an educational presentation on managing various types of threats including but not limited to an active shooter. The educational presentation will be followed by an actual drill to provide practical skills. We will divide up the drill per program and location so that each group will be experiencing the drill within their own program facility (we may have to group some together for efficiency). More details will be provided in the coming days on the structure and timing of each program drill.

Dispose of your old\, tired and used electronics on island in an environmentally and COVID-safe way. \nHow does EDD work? Great question! Take a look at our price list below to see what items we accept. If you know exactly what you are bringing and what time you’d like to come\, you can expedite the process by signing up for a drop off time slot. Otherwise\, drive over to MVRHS on Saturday morning\, where volunteers will help you tally your electronics and safely dispose of them for you. Payment is accepted via check or credit card and all proceeds benefit both MV Community Services and MVRHS Student Government.
